Aruba Island
Aruba is a small Dutch island in the Caribbean, located off the coast of Venezuela. It is notable for dry sunny weather, quiet waves and white sand beaches. Because of the constantly blowing trade winds in Aruba, there is always a light cool breeze, and the trunks and branches of the divi divi trees are twisted and tilted to the southwest. Europe significantly influenced the local architecture: Dutch pediments painted in pastel colors testify to this. Aruba is spoken in the language of papiamento, as well as in English, Dutch and Spanish.
The island state of Aruba, which is part of the Lesser Antilles, is located near Venezuela.
